From St
ars to the Earth: a Voyage with Minerals
In this book, Patrick Cordier and Hugues Leroux show how mineralogists study the universe with telescopes, work with a particle accelerator, a electron microscope, or participate in NASA missions. Those are different sides of the XXIst century mineralogists. Indeed, minerals can be loved for their beauty, but also the story they tell, stories of galaxies, planets, and the center of the Earth.
